Workshop 1: FTTH Network Planning and Design
FTTH Network Planning and Design
How to ensure an efficient and high-quality planning and design of your FTTH networks?
After finalizing the business planning - determining the coverage of the concerned zones and timing to deploy - the FTTx network planning – high & low level design – needs to be done. In this phase it will be determined where to install the different components, how to route the cables, how to cluster the homes around a flexibility point, etc. The outcome of the network planning will be the basis for construction and documentation of the FTTx network.
The objective of the workshop is to give an overview of the different steps in the planning of FTTH networks and to demonstrate the benefits of automation and optimization during this process.
Workshop 2: FTTH Network Planning and Indoor Wiring Solutions
The FTTH Network Planning and Indoor Wiring solutions
Indoor cabling solutions is considered a challenge for FTTH connectivity and extending fibre deep into buildings and multi-dwelling units. True also for business and single-dwelling units where fast and correct and efficient wiring is needed to speed the rollout and complete the installation with success and quality.
This workshop will discuss the best practices for wiring and connectivity and installation of fibre in Greenfield and brownfield situations. The techniques, methodologies and designs to work efficiently will be shared in these environments and demonstrate the skill-sets needed for high-yield installations and high-quality cable works in indoor buildings. A necessary view to be able to speed up FTTH deployments.
